    Yeah! I agree with @bl4cksm0ke. DO-NIGH-RE is the correct pronunciation of his family name. Filipinos and Spanish-speaking people pronounce it correctly. Good job, Lupe Contreras!

    DO NAY REH is how you pronounce Nonito's last name. It's Hispanic pronunciation... SO SAY IT CORRECTLY!!! It's like when Pacquiao's last name was being mispronounced all over the media when he was first being discovered...

    @iratetruth Probably won't go as far as callin Montiel average just out of respect to the former champ and his fans. Maybe you can say he does everything really "good" but not "great"

    But goin back to your description of a typical "counter puncher" goin to the body...who's the best example of this style? Can you name a few fighters? I figure if you're countering, you automatically would counter to the head, but what do I know I'm just a novice of the sport of boxing.

    I disagree, Montiels power is something to behold. He has more KO rates than any fighter in that division. He's a bad mofo bad lost to someone special.
