there is no such thinbg as a perfect fight.the fact is that pac can have hundreds of mistakes against floyd but still floyd can't put him down.just one mistake for floyd and it will all be over.it takes only within 4 rounds,floyd will certainly make a mistake.

I love filippinos and think Pac is the best and worst thing for them. @tedahwooga I think the explanation there would be, if the fighter fighting Manny is backing away would mean it will be an easy fight for Manny because that dude does not really want to engage with him and he will not win either but I get your point, to make the fight more exciting Manny should develop his ability for those kind of fighter..
Well spoken its nice to see a true breakdown i think Manny is a great fighter but Floyd is impossible to hit and when people step in the ring with Floyd and see the speed and counter ability their game plans go straight out the window. that being said if Manny throws a lot he can win if not Floyd will make him look average and then people will find an excuse why Floyd won....that's my 2 cents..

What about Floyd's fight against DLH? DLH has thrown a thousand punch so to speak Pac can do that as well. Pac's pretty accurate too. And it's not that Floyd is so impossible to be hit look at what Mosley did to him. If Pac hits him like that what do you think will happen?

The problem with Mayweather now, is he hasn't been active enough to keep all his skills on point. In my opinion, that's hurting him right now. His footwork has declined a bit. With that being said, I still think it's a toss up on who wins the fight (if the fight happens)
I'm a pacman fan but floyd is really good in technical boxing... I agree that the fight would be VOLUME OF PUNCHES vs EXCELLENT DEFENSE... we all hope that we will see this fight :)
@jeffrenz14 Hatton, Cotto, Margarito, and Mosley all made the wrong assumptions. There's also the old notion of Manny's body shot weakness in the past when he lacked good nutrition and bad stamina training. Freddie and Alex have corrected those past mistakes and Pac is much more improved since then. The 3rd Marquez fight should be a good indicator how Manny has become a complete fighter. But how can they find major flaws in his current fights when he has been dominating?

@jeffrenz14 Manny has come along way since that fight but he still needs to work on cutting the ring off and not getting out of position! he does best when his opponents come to him and trade and he does his worst when his opponents back away from him and counter! thats a fact!
Anyone who looks back to the Marquez fight to analyze Manny's current performance doesn't realized the hard work that Roach has done with Manny. Manny has been a new fighter starting with the Diaz fight.
Just listen to Mayweathers own father. Li´l Floyd fought Zab Judah then, a good southpaw and during that time his father, Mayweather Senior was not in his corner, because he was jailed due to narco illegal issue. The fathers message to his sons manager, "never put Li´l Floyd infront a southpaw ever again". Always bear in mind "Father knows best".
Don´t even try to squeeze all your mind for this. This fight will never happen. Mayweather delaying tactic will never work for Pacquiao, because if you will listen to Pacquiaos recent interviews he´s getting restless talking and hearing any question where Mayweathers name is in it. Pacquiao loves more to hear his politics issues than boxing nowadays. My guess Pacquiao have only 2 fights left and if Mayweather is not fast enough, he can just dream the millions of dollars he´ll earn on that fight.
@bcsolutions I disagree with some of ur points. Floyd's punches didn't almost knockout Mosley. A tired Mosley who absorbed flush hard shots from Floyd kept on moving forward and Floyd can't even knock him down. Also, Pac does not need to swing his arms as much to throw his power punches. That's why he can throw hard punches in bunches. Floyd OTOH swings his right hand and lunges a bit. Manny can exploit this with a counterpunch. If Pac lands a hard shot that Floyd didn't see, changes things

The unexpected would happen, floyd will ko pac. cos pac will try to walk through floyds faint punches and will be hit with harder ones when he comes close. shane thought the same in the match up and almost got ko by floyd several times . throwing a punch means losing more energy, when someone ducks them how long will u last ? i mean rounds?
you made sense but again the only way mayweather losses to pac is if he inactive and doesnt use his footwork. Floyd will ko manny, trust me, manny will do what u just asked for, he will try to land dozens of punches like castillo did but floyd is much more improved and would make manny lose his energy as the rounds go by with constant counter punches, he will land very vicious punches on floyd that will rattle the audience but that would be all.. floyd will dominate him like marquez and ko pac
