  1. I'm pretty sure I spotted myself in the audience.

  2. @lifeonloop You make some fair points, but the reality is, Froch has absolutely no chance against Ward. Ward has better defense, better boxing skills, better movement, better reflexes and better hand speed. Ward is on a totally different planet to Froch.

I don't mean to insult u when I say this, but u sound very bias

Ur basically saying Lewis had absolutely no good reason to reason to fight Vit. Absolute bollocks. He had 2 big reasons 2 rematch.

    1. FANS: People wanted to see it. The slowly dying heavyweight division needed that kind of fight.

    2. LEGACY: U act as if a rematch would do anything negative to his career. Impossible.

It attempts to justify his decision not to rematch Vitali have not made any impressions

  4. @GilbertSyndrome
Lol, "Lewis would risk his career when he was in the verge of retirement".... So, risk his career at his career's very end... Think about that 4 a sec.

  5. i wanna see Bernard vs Glen Johnson rematch....that'd be a good one

  6. @JDezi4

I very much doubt that Lewis was scared of Vitali, but what would he have to gain from beating him after he'd already beaten him? So he could beat him more convincingly and please the critics? You can't please everyone, so why bother risking it all for criticism? Lewis was way past his best and he'd already silenced the critics by beating Rahman after losing to him, and then beating Tyson, after the world had been clamouring for that fight... No matter what he did there was critics.

  7. @JDezi4

So Lennox Lewis would risk his career when he was on the verge of retirement just please a few people? Think of it from his perspective rather than the perspective of your average fight fan. There's a ton of fights we want to see but won't. Lewis had mentioned many times prior to the Vitali fight that he wanted to quit, he wasn't motivated to fight anyone, much less Vitali who was a rising star in the division. A prime Lewis would have given Vitali a more competitive fight indeed.

  8. @GilbertSyndrome
Becuz its a fight people wanted to see.... Simple as that. Why not? Its not like people weren't gonna paid enough for it. Unless of course he considered it "paying him to lose" in which case, maybe it wasn't.

But it could easily be looked at as a cowardly move. I mean, it wasn't like he was taking any beating prior to that, so other than boredom for beating all these over-matched opponents (or fear of losing) why would he want to retire anyway

  9. OMG i knew it ... Froch FFS ... u are the man GL with Ward tho :(

  10. froch doing it for nottingham uk

  11. @JDezi4

Actually, Lewis planned to retire before he even fought Vitali, Vitali was a replacement for another opponents and both him and Lewis had about 2 weeks to prepare. Why would Lewis rematch a man at that point in his career when Vitali wasn't even his actual opponent? Lewis wanted to retire weeks before the Vitali fight.

  12. what a great fight.....very nice to watch.....

  13. @TheSkankat
Lmfao, really... Jackass, HBO and Showtime r ruining boxing why? Lol, Amir Khan didn't even want to fight for Sky Sports anymore lol... Why do u think that is?

One reason ur teeth r so fucked up u keep putting ur own foot in ur mouth

  14. @TheSkankat
Lennox Lewis made one of the most exciting boxers in history boring. His most exciting fight was when he was getting his ass kicked by Vitali, and got lucky. And what was his response? Typical British response.... RETIRE BEFORE U HAVE TO REMATCH HIM.

  15. also as much as i would like 2 see him win in the final, his defence was just beyond bad last night. get it sorted!!!!!!!!!

  16. what the fuck is wrong with people on here,. Froch is a game champion and always gives a good fight. He also fights any fucker.

Good luck to him in the final.

  17. @MrSoundboyrock your insane

  18. @xxmcneilxx dont know why 1 person would pay to watch carl froch never mind fill such a venue haha

  19. there are not words 2 describe how shit carl froch is!!! is it just me or does he not have the most awkward style of boxing in history! no idea how he has managed 2 win a world title in a division which is made out to be of such a high standard.

  20. they should put the finals at the MGM grand or Madison Square Garden

  21. @Lemurai i don't have any problems with people criticising Carl Froch as a boxer, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but to call a man who is a world champion, who has never ducked anybody, who has fought the best of the best in a division in consecutive fights and won all but one of them, and most of them away from home a clown is completely disrespectful. As for being a loudmouth, he dedicated his win to ALL troops (British and American) defending their countries, yeah he's a real clown.

  22. fuck ur teeth gap old man

  23. @michaelowensvr michaelowensvr He was not outclassed against Taylor, behind yes, but no way outclassed. A fight lasts 12 rounds anyway and Froch did what he had to do to win the fight, showed he is a a true warrior. He has improved immensely since then too. The Pascal fight was a candidate for fight of the year, again Froch dug deep and carved out a win. Dirrell ran all night and complained.Froch is not the best boxer by any means but he makes up for it in heart, stamina and a great chin
