Makes no sense. How can you blame the other fighter for the lackluster performance. Ali fought Frazier 3 times going backwards and it was exciting. Manny just couldn't handle Mosley turning him. He won hands down but he wasn't sharp or accurate. He didn't cut off the ring properly.

@MattShep85 dont compare Mosley against mayweather in terms of pacquiao. MOsley is a nice guy, manny got no grudge on mosley. Somehow, manny dont really want to destroy him. But when manny was mistakenly called a knock down, YOu saw how manny changed, if he have a bad intention.
so, in floyds case is much different. Manny hates floyd. He will destroy floyd at all cost. Manny will create traps and force floyd to engage. -

@MattShep85 So really he did adapt, he adapted and won with ease. All Ariza is talking about is whether the fight was exciting or not. Shane gave Manny zero problems except in terms of not providing an entertaining fight.

@MattShep85 Not really, he is saying the fight as a spectacle will be tedious if the opponent chooses not to fight, it's not related to who will win or not. People expect a MP fight to be a show as it usually is, people expect to see something special, Shane's cowardice didn't allow for that. Manny still scored a virtual shut out against Shane whilst never being hurt. Whilst landing more punches on Shane and having fewer punches landed on him than Mayweather did when he fought Shane.

for those who dont understand why pacquiao didnt ko mosley YOU shouldnt be watching this sport.. Manny tried his best to make the fight exciting but it takes two to tango..old man mosley was running scared protecting himself from getting KTFO and while he was doing that he was waiting for PAC to make a mistake and leave himself open. PAC was not about to just abandon the game plan and start brawling like an amateur. He did the right thing and embarrass mosley just like he deserved.

Isnt this bassically ariza saying, mayweather beats MP? Mayweather isnt going to engage, he will just wait for manny....so manny by ariza's definition will switch off and get bored.
Im not trying to cause trouble here, im a huge fan of arizas work and have huge respect for the guy it just seems hes admitted mp cant adapt to mayweathers style. -

@sbmsuperman were r not going to agree i think manny did the best he cud the only person that stopped shane getting knocked out was shane not manny manny has no control over shane. manny HAD TO BOX this fight NOT BRAWL only certain times can he rush in and just punch shane but thats AFTER CAREFULLY SETTING IT UP. the difference with clotey was he had his hands up there is no danger of clottey thorwing punches shane had his hand DOWN AND COCKED. manny boxed shane and he did a beter job than PBF

@chinamonk Manny did good, but he did not give his all. Only after he was knocked down, which was caused by a push, did he start fighting the way he used to, with heart and determination. Thats the difference between Manny and everyone else. Thats why he gets paid so much. But he disappointed a lot of fans this time. He is alway exciting to watch even against Clottey who did nothing,but this fight was boring. Manny said so himself,he wasn't happy with his performance.
