Sergio Martinez vs Kermit Cintron - Rounds 7 & 8

www.BoxingVideosOnline.com WBC interim super welterweight champion Sergio Martinez (44-1-2, 24 KOs) and former IBF welterweight champion Kermit Cintron (30-2-1, 27 KOs) battled to a twelve round majority draw. Martinez seemed wary of Cintrons punching power, as he tried to outbox Kermit from the outside while avoiding exchanges, much to the disgust of the crowd. Cintron was cut in round five by what was ruled a headbutt. Martinez finally dropped Cintron at the end of round seven with a big straight left and the bout seemed to be waved off by referee Frank Santore, however the bout continued with much more action. Cintron had some moments down the stretch and Martinez was deducted a point for a rabbit punch in round twelve which ultimately cost him the win. Scores were 116-110, 113-113, 113-113.

    I think these judges dont like martinez he won this fight clean and clear I want a see him do a rematch with margarito for sure he'll beat em this time...

    Nah, it's pretty clear to the boxing world at this point that Martinez won against Cintron. A rematch would not be beneficial to Martinez. I'd rather see him avenge his one true loss against Margarito. That, or a potential match with Pacquiao.

    cintron lacks courage...look at his fights agains margarito,after the rounds end he walks all dejected to the corner,already giving up..he does same against williams and here against martinez...he has no heart,no courage,

    i don't think martinez can fight toe to toe with pacquiao ! martinez fight his opponent with his hands down , unlike manny , he punch back with his arms up ... but it is a great and exciting to watch .
