If I'm not mistaken, the reason Chavez even got a shot at that belt in the first place is that the sanctioning body stripped Sergio Martinez of it. Martinez thinks that that belt is rightfully his, and I agree with him. Chavez Jr., if you think that you deserve that belt more than Sergio Martinez does, then you have to fight him, and you have to fight him next. Be like your father and rise to the occasion. You're a world champion now. Fight the middleweight king of the world.

If he beats Martinez, then he definitely deserves to be a champion in the junior middleweight division. After all, Martinez is the best fighter in the middleweight division. At this point, Pacquiao's promoters don't want to take any risks with Pacquiao's career. Pacquiao has repeatedly said that he will fight anybody. Pacquiao WILL fight Martinez. Pacquiao's promoters don't want him to. Which pisses me off. -

I'm pretty sure that if it was Pacquiao's decision alone, he would be wiling and ready for Martinez. The problem lies with Manny's promoters. And who can blame them for not wanting him to fight Martinez? -

@duane99 because he went up that weight to fight for a tittle with some one that wasn't ranked nor even fighting in that division. Tittle that was taken from Martinez. If Pac wanted the tittle he had to fight Martinez! Now Maravilla wants to fight him and also is willing to go down in his weight... but for some reason Pac doesn't want it.

@TESALONIAN What you are smokin mate? 150lbs catch weight during the weigh in Pac only 144.6lbs simply he can't make the weight so he decided to leave the belt and not defend it because even the fight night he is 148lbs only and he is badly hurt by Margarito in that fight. What you are saying 167lbs that's the weight of Margarito in Fight night not on the weigh in. If I'm Sergio I will not chase Pac to fight me i never get credit even i beat Pac at 154lbs siply because that is his division.
