@merksperk2 I agree but the complaint will only be from the boxing fans but the casual fan will still buying the chavez fights. It's like the pacquio's fights, since cotto pacquiao has not fought a real fight but the people still bought his fights without doubt ( i wish pacquiao-marquez 3 will be a real fight and the weight don't affect Marquez)

@lacasainvita1
But the point is, unless Chavez fights Sergio Martinez, his belt means absolutely nothing. If Chavez doesn't fight Martinez, people are gonna look at him as a ducker. -
@merksperk2 C'mon neither Chavez jr or Arum want the fight. Arum dont want to over the jr bussines and Jr don't want to fight Martinez because he don´t want to die.
-
@whothebitchnowsucka it's a fact. Jr won the belt but he's not the champion. To me Martinez it's the P4P king.
-
I'm mexican, but I honestly I THINK that martinez would beat the shit outta chavez jr
-
man williams better not want it again. martinez will eat him up and damage him worse in a third fight.
-
What a wretched chin Williams has an overhyped joke!!!!!!!
-
If I'm not mistaken, the reason Chavez even got a shot at that belt in the first place is that the sanctioning body stripped Sergio Martinez of it. Martinez thinks that that belt is rightfully his, and I agree with him. Chavez Jr., if you think that you deserve that belt more than Sergio Martinez does, then you have to fight him, and you have to fight him next. Be like your father and rise to the occasion. You're a world champion now. Fight the middleweight king of the world.
-
@TESALONIAN same here same there. you never change and will never change. good for you!
-
Chavez won against Zbik. Great. Now fight Sergio Martinez, the true middleweight king.
-
This goes to all the idiots that say that...that was a lucky punch if u watch closely u can see that martinez calculated the punch before throwing it and connected amazingly...
-
unfuckingbelievable
-
@tranht1 yeah fucking emanuel steward
-
@TESALONIAN
I get what you're saying. Don't get me wrong, I don't want Pacquiao to get destroyed in the ring. I just want to see a good, entertaining fight in which Pacquiao is in real danger. So far, all of his recent opponents have either been old, slow, or beat up. I'm not pissed off at Pacquiao, I'm pissed off at his promoters. If Pacquiao's next fights are against lackluster opponents and turn out to be like Pacquiao-Mosley, then it'd be better for Pacquiao not to fight at all. -
@merksperk2 it is like saying on november fight...if pacquiao moves down at 135,marquez will destroy pacquiao. they will fight at 144 and marquez has nothing to do at 144,it will be a fair fight if they fight at 140 lbs catchweight,but marquez is a warrior and he will fight pacquiao at 144,his last fight's weight was at 134. got the point and why it cant be? not a hater here but a true boxing fan. dont care if anyone of them die tomorrow,I watch boxing as entretainment.
-
@merksperk2 what I want to say is martinez would murder pacquiao in 5-6 rounds easy and simple mate: pacquiao's fairy tale ends at 147. he is a great boxer but we all have limits. and his limit ends at 147. if pacquiao dares to fight martinez at 154 pacquiao could be beheaded if martinez lands a punch like he did with williams. for me it is not a fair fight. let the 2 great boxers take separate ways.... below 154? at 150? impossible,it will take the power,speed and legs of martinez.
-
@merksperk2 martinez-pacquiao will never happen. pacquiao already stated he will never fight up to 147 and martinez said he will never go down more than 154,he asked a fight against pacquiao due to pacquiao won the 154 lbs title against margarito. martinez has 40 % more power ratio than pacquiao,he is better counter than marquez and almost as fast as pacquiao,martinez can KO a top middle champion at his prime with one punch(williams) pacquiao could never even Knock down a top middle fighter.
-
you can tell that left was waiting to land.
-
Martinez is a natural 154-pounder and a small middleweight. Pacquiao was able to fight Margarito at a catchweight of 150 pounds. By that fact, there's no reason Pacquiao-Martinez can't be made weight-wise. The only obstacle I can think of is that idiot Arum who keeps saying, "Oh, I know Pacquiao can beat Martinez, but I don't want him to get hurt like he did against Margarito." Fuck me. Are you serious!? THIS IS BOXING, DUMBASS! PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSED TO GET HURT! The hell...
-
perfect positioning
-
I do think that, because of the state of boxing today compared to the Golden Age, Pacquiao-Martinez should be made at 150. It would be the ultimate fight for either fighter, and if Pacquiao wins, it'll most likely be the most impressive achievement of his entire career. It'll be a very entertaining fight too. Not just for Pacquiao fans, but boxing fans too and fans in general.
-
@acooldryplace00 Martinez fought more like a fighter than a boxer. He was more brawling than he was methodical. He exposed Williams' weakness, in my opinion. You have to get inside his long as arms and let loose and throw bricks to his face.
-
to all of you : watch this 2 videos " Mayweather vs Mosley - Pacquiao EXPOSED " and " Pacquiao's Improvements - A Pactard Story " so you all will find interesting facts about manny pacquiao. copy and paste at the youtube browser. I'm not a hater but a neutral fan that dont care who wins as long fighters give a good fight. I watch boxing as entretainment. here are facts and the truth
-
@thuglib0g plain and simple tell me the last time pacquiao fought a current boxing champion at his prime considered in the top 7 P4P comming from at least 6 amazing wins and undefeated in his last 8 fights fighting in his natural weigh not a catchweight, no comming from suspension, poor performances or retirement before he fought pacquiao. tell me the name and the year he fought a boxer at this level.
-
cotto doesen't punch harder than pavik, that's a ridiculous statement.
