    Pacquiao-Martinez should be at 150, then. There's no excuse for Pacquiao not to fight at a catchweight of 150 pounds, since he essentially did it against Margarito. Martinez is a natural 154-pounder, and he's an inch shorter than Margarito.

    what I want to say is martinez would murder pacquiao in 5-6 rounds easy and simple mate: pacquiao's fairy tale ends at 147. he is a great boxer but we all have limits. and his limit ends at 147. if pacquiao dares to fight martinez at 154 pacquiao could be beheaded if martinez lands a punch like he did with williams. for me it is not a fair fight. let the 2 great boxers take separate ways.... below 154? at 150? impossible,it will take the power,speed and legs of martinez.

    martinez-pacquiao will never happen. pacquiao already stated he will never fight up to 147 and martinez said he will never go down more than 154,he asked a fight against pacquiao due to pacquiao won the 154 lbs title against margarito. martinez has 40 % more power ratio than pacquiao,he is better counter than marquez and almost as fast as pacquiao,martinez can KO a top middle champion at his prime with one punch(williams) pacquiao could never even Knock down a top middle fighter.

    @jayar0423 that was in his earlie carrier.... when both were starting to box... but now Sergio can Brutalize Margarito with eas becuase he is a better fighter then before.... but still i think Pacquiao might beat Sergio.. cuz Pacquiao evolved into a supreme fighter.

    to all pac fans... Martinez was taken off his 154 belt and that belt went to Pac when he beat Margacheato, who had not fought in that division for 4 years!!!
    So now Martinez wants "his" belt back... if Pacquiao really wants it, has to fight Martinez not some one (a loser) that had been badly beaten by Mosley.
    Now having stupid excuses... "pacquiao can't have that weight" or "Martinez should look for another one his own size"

Maritinez is Smarter then Margarito as a fighter, faster and he as the brains to search for a Knockout ....if he connects he kocks out good... no offense but Margarito is a dunb brutal fighter.. he has no brain....     Sergio Martinez would kill Manny Pacquiao. Martinez is a counter puncher and Pac don't do so good against them type fighters. Pac would be launched out of the ring considering how many times Pac gets hit in a fight.

    Pacquiao-Martinez will be an exciting fight if it happens. On one hand, Pacquiao could bombard Martinez nonstop with power punches, similar to his fight with Margarito. On the other hand, Martinez, using his movement to offset the power in Manny's punches, could set up that right hand jab and follow up with that devastating left hook to the jaw.

    Either man has roughly an equal chance of winning, and that's what I love about elite fights.

    @154 martinez will beat pacquiao?? maybe but dont count pacquiao out. pacquiao has a good chance on beating him. margarito, mosley, clottey and cotto can give martinez trouble. believe me he doesnt have a good boxing skills. he is big and strong thats all he is like big strong version of david diaz. if manny feel his punches is too hard manny can just box him. have u seen what he did to margarito??
