If I'm not mistaken, the reason Chavez even got a shot at that belt in the first place is that the sanctioning body stripped Sergio Martinez of it. Martinez thinks that that belt is rightfully his, and I agree with him. Chavez Jr., if you think that you deserve that belt more than Sergio Martinez does, then you have to fight him, and you have to fight him next. Be like your father and rise to the occasion. You're a world champion now. Fight the middleweight king of the world.

Marquez at 140 (which isn't gonna happen because Marquez is too dangerous at that weight), or Martinez at a catchweight of 150 (which isn't gonna happen because Martinez, unlike Margarito, is fast and has good movement). -

Pactards are blind. Paquiao is not the real champ at 154 it is this guy. Martinez can still make 154 pounds and yet the Paquiao camp wants nothing to do with him. Instead they opt to fight 135 pound champ Manuel Marques who has to fight david diaz months before Paquiao and of course the match is at a catch weight that only benefits Paquiao. Marques has not done well going up in weight and he is no longer in his prime he has slowed down and Freddie Roach knows this.

I agree. The only people who respect Manny Pacquiao today are Pactards and that dumbass columnist Michael Marley. I used to respect Pacquiao, back when he fought and defeated LEGIT, UNDAMAGED, and PRIME fighters like Marquez and Morales. Who's he fighting now? A faded DLH, a Hatton after Mayweather beat him down, a Cotto who got battered by Margarito for 12 rounds, a Margarito who got destroyed by Mosley, Clottey (no goddamn offense, seriously!?), and an old, brittle Mosley. -

Martinez could give Mayweather and Pacquiao a bit of trouble for sure. But he's too big for Manny. I don't think he'll want to come down and Manny won't want to go up. A Martinez/Mayweather fight would be interesting though. And it's possible.

can someone answer this?,plain and simple :someone tell me the last time pacquiao fought a current boxing champion at his prime considered in the top 7 P4P comming from at least 6 amazing wins and undefeated in his last 8 fights fighting in his natural weigh not a catchweight, no comming from suspension, poor performances or retirement before he fought pacquiao someone young under 32 years old.someone tell me the name and the year he fought a boxer at this level.
